The first thing we did was to invite our friends and other acquaintances for a reception where we presented them with gifts. This is just one way of saying “We’re glad you came out and shared this celebration with us.” That’s what it’s all about.
So the next day, we went around town asking everyone if they had extra people coming to the reception. After a while, we learned that several of our friends had things to attend to, so we asked them to just let us know when they’d be back.
I believe that it was a very good thing that Carson invited us to this party. But, I can’t help but wonder what it would be like to have been invited to the grand opening of this great new building.
I can remember when I was a kid, my brother and I would always ask our parents where they were planning on putting their new building. It never occurred to us that they would be holding such a grand opening. It seems like all of these years later, they want to share their passion for learning.
Carson College students could take an Enrolled Agent of Carson college exam and become Certified. That’s pretty cool, and the kids had an opportunity to get into the classes that they wanted. Taking an Enrolled Agent of Carson examination is really great.
We’ve heard a lot of stories from the college student over the years that they used to be in classes that were boring. Now, they’re studying something that they love and having a lot of fun.
But, I had a friend who did not enjoy going to class for boring and exciting times. She never found a subject that she liked. They were boring, but it didn’t seem to bother her.
We want to be able to tell those young folks at Carson College that they could really use some excitement at their college and a place where they can learn, which is now a great new learning center. Why is this so important? Imagine having to work for eight hours a day, and then coming home to your home for dinner and a TV show.
We’d all love to have the old school back again. We just hope that the excitement and fun that’s been created by this new educational center can bring back the old school mentality that so many young people enjoy.
We know that Carson College has purchased the old Miss Betty’s Department Store building and is now working on turning it into office space for the college. We also know that the building had been demolished a few years ago and it’s just waiting for some proper finishing touches before anyone can even move in. So we are really excited about this.
There are many exciting things going on at Carson College right now and I’m excited to see how it all plays out. I’d like to think that the college will be an inspiration to others and will turn into a university for thousands of young people around the country. They’re going to do amazing things.
