In 2020, the certification testing organizations started administering a practice test for the Praise exam. The test consists of fifteen questions that assess an instructor’s ability to help students take the Praise tests. Nitro Tech also offers an interactive practice test with both visual and audio exercises. These games have been designed to help teach students how to recognize answers, then match the answers with accompanying graphics and text. When students have learned this skill, they can take the test without referring to an answer sheet.

CAL works in much the same way as a Praise practice test does, except that it contains audio, visual, and text exercises.
