I have a friend who is addicted to street art depicting different social issues, including the current presidential election. Every day she puts up a new piece, sometimes more than one.

It is all part of her anti-war activism. She participates in the Stiffen Revolution and her work has appeared in CNN and The Washington Post. Now she is working on her art’s history with hopes of someday having a larger exhibit.

Her friend is a professional artist who has found a niche in the culture of this country. She worked for various magazines and newspapers before working her way into the underground culture and into street art. Her new work focuses on money and power, anger, anger against the system and even slavery. In my opinion, these types of pieces will get her in trouble when she tries to get into college.

She is currently taking art classes so she can have the skills to create street art depicts. It will be interesting to see if she is able to go to college.
